The Villa at Peace Village is Norwood Young America's first independent living facility. Our independent spacious apartments take away the hassle of owning your own home. The Villa is owned and operated by Peace Villa Inc. a non-profit corporation established by our community in 1978. We provide affordable income based rental rates to individuals age 62 and above, and handicapped persons. We are known for our fun, friendly, extended family type environment.

• Our 61 one and two bedroom apartments are located on two floors and range from 622 square feet to 933 square feet. All floors are reachable by stairs, a central elevator or elevator lift.
• Each apartment features a full kitchen, including a range, refrigerator, living room, bedroom(s), and private bath with a shower, ample closet space, telephone hook-ups and an emergency call system, individual parking spaces with electric hook up. Handicapped accessible apartments are available. We are a smoke free facility.
• Secured entry system, electricity allowance, paid sewer & water, snow removal, trash removal, mail delivery, courteous and friendly staff. Community Room with full kitchen. Well Maintained Lawn and Grounds.

• Church Services on Premises, Bible Study Group, Planned Outings, Social Activities Calendar, Garden Site, Special Events & Dinners.

• Don't want to shovel snow? Don't worry. We provide all maintenance, landscaping and snow removal.

• All rents are based on income. Rental Assistance is available to those who qualify. We also accept section 8 vouchers. We are a USDA Rural Development project.
